Forever Remembered – Tombstone 1906 – 1950
Product Details

This book covers deaths in Tombstone, Arizona, between 1906 and 1950. Times had changed in Tombstone from the early days. A few miners and others lost their lives in accidents at the mines or in old shafts, and a few were killed by gunshots. Diseases took many lives, especially tuberculosis and the Spanish flu epidemic in the winter of 1918-1919.
Tombstone held its first Helldorado celebration from October 24 through the 27, 1929. Concurrently, though, the Wall Street Crash of October 24 and 25 heralded in the lean years. The 1930s witnessed the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. The 1940s saw America involved in World War II, and then the years afterward of recovery.
Those from Tombstone who died in this war and the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War I, and Korea are honored in this book.
This book is an update of two books. Rest In Peace covered 1906-1925 and Rest In Peace II & Supplement covered 1926-1950.
